"I am disappointed in Kaylee Mitchell’s lack of professionalism. I booked Kaylee for bridal hair services. Kaylee was responsive when I made my initial inquiry for bridal services and paid a retainer fee to reserve the wedding date. I contacted Kaylee over 1 year in advance to cancel bridal hair services I had reserved, and I did not receive a response for over 3 weeks. I had to contact Kaylee 3 different methods to ultimately get in contact with her. Over the phone, I asked Kaylee if she would be willing to apply the money I paid for a retainer toward salon services (e.g., haircut, color, or style). She was not empathetic toward the circumstances related to me needing to cancel services, and added to the pain and embarrassment of needing to cancel the reservation by laughing not once, but on two separate occasions at my request. With over 1 year in advance notice of cancellation, Kaylee would likely be able to be hired for services at another wedding. The other services I had booked elsewhere and needed to cancel (photographer and venue) were much more understanding, offered warm regards, and treated me like a human being during a less than desirable life circumstance. Kaylee was well within her right to decline my request for salon services, but her inappropriate laughter and lack of responsiveness in communicating, left me feeling like I was merely a dollar sign to her. Due to her lack of professionalism and tact, I would not recommend Kaylee. I hope Kaylee can grow from this experience and treat all of her clients with respect in the future."
