When using the other name brand paint and PVA sealer, it took multiple coats of paint to cover the new construction drywall. I started using Sherwin Williams PVA drywall sealer and paint and found that only one coat was needed. I have also found that when a color match is needed, the Branson store will match it perfectly where the other brand could not. I have also found that the price is very comparable to the other brand; since it only takes one coat of SW paint, it’s much cheaper to use."
