"The short summary: this was easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Kansas City. We were so excited to take our son on his first restaurant week dining experience and this was a major let down. We showed up ten minutes early for our reservation and were warmly greeted by the host, but after that, our positive experience quickly ended. After waiting awkwardly to get the bar tender’s attention for a pre-dinner drink, we then waited over an hour after our reservation to be seated. Once we were told we could sit, we were then escorted to not the dining room but a 14 person conference room for the three of us. Dinner took over an hour and a half and each course came out colder than the one before it. The only bright spot was our waitress that was very apologetic for the evening. However for over $80 a head, I have to admit that I’d expect a better dress code for the staff than a torn Chiefs sweater and sneakers. Needless to say, we won’t be coming back. Pretentious, over priced and a poor customer experience. Woof. Avoid if you can. One positive - we’ll always have a story to tell for years to come."

"This experience is totally worth the cost, don’t get me wrong. The view is amazing and definitely a cool experience. We enjoyed a tent on a surprisingly warm night in December. That being said, it’s not cheap, the service isn’t great, and the food was pretty cold by the time we went into our tent to eat. We had a standard three hour booking. We started arriving at 3:30 and our reservation lasted until 6:30. The food had already been sitting in the tent before we got there, and while the presentation was nice, the cold food was not. The service was adequate, but slow for the cost of reserving one of these spaces. Overall a great experience, but the service and food did not match the cost of the experience."

"I saw this place on a food blog and was drawn to the atmosphere! I made reservations immediately for a girl’s date night! We went on a Sunday night which was perfect because it wasn’t too busy. I went with two girlfriends of mine and we all ordered something different to share. The drinks were very good! The view looking out into the city was amazing! Don’t look down if you’re afraid of heights! Our server was so accommodating! I highly recommend this place for a fine dining experience! Thank you to the staff for making this date night so memorable! We were all very pleased!"
