"An absolute museum hotel. Frank is very personable & shared to his guests (us) some historical background of the hotel which is very fascinating. Overall, friendly owners & great with their guests. The room is clean & location is in downtown of Fort Scott so it's easy to navigate for whatever you may need."

"We selected to stay at the Courtland Hotel during the Christmas celebration weekend for the Candlelight Tour Package. The hotel was very historic. Overall we were very happy about the room conditions. The water pressure was amazing. The bed was comfortable and plenty of size in the room. For an older hotel it is in great condition. Frank made the experience even better by making us feel welcomed each time we walked in. We are already planning our next stay in Fort Scott."

"A wounderful place to stay. So much history. Very clean!! The owner/operator Frank is so very Helpful, kind and his wife also. She has a SPA next door. It was so busy and booked up we were not able to get in. Ft.Scott is a great place to visit. Lots to do. The COURTLAND HOTEL & SPA is located right in the middle of town, a great location!. Brealfast was nice!"

"If you are ever in Ft. Scott and want to stay in a historically beautiful quaint hotel. This is the place. Beautiful architecture in and outside the building. The location is unbeatable, shopping and food are all within a short walk from the hotel. Not to mention the historic Fort is just a short walk away, and you're able to tour the old Fort and walk through the barracks and officers' quarters. We'll definitely be back to stay again."
