"Some of the younger cashiers are always grumpy and act like I've done something bad to them. The older cashiers are always nice. Also, the items that give you fuel rewards are marked up to compensate the cost of the fuel discount."

"Horrible baked goods. Cupcakes were so so dry not worth the price. We will not be getting any more baked goods for movie night. They do have a good selection of ice cream and ice cream novelties. Update: If you find yourself with some stale dry cupcakes and have access to a kitchen and some time. Make a simple syrup (sugar/water) which has a lot of “recipes” online and paint on the syrup to the outside of the cupcakes and let them sit a while. I also injected a bit into the center and under the frosting near the top. This made these cupcakes moist again. We ate the rest the following night and they were good so I added another star. I did emailed Hy-Vee about my dissatisfaction, but never heard back."

"Great selection in a wonderfully appointed store. Lawrence KS store also has a food court serving a variety of different cuisines including a Wahlburger location, barbecue joint as well as Asian cuisine offering. Check out their candy isle - amazing."

"Clinton Parkway Hyvee used to be one of my favorite places to shop, however I will no longer be shopping at this store due to the horrible attitude of associate, Jami. She has been extremely disrespectful, sassy, and rude, to not only me, but also my elderly mother on several occasions. I have also witnessed her nearly shouting at a young male employee. Completely awful. Not at all what I would expect from such an otherwise wonderful grocery store."

"Hy-Vee has the best pineapple sausage without casing! Then, yesterday was a veterans day appreciation breakfast, which was great. They have really nice seating inside, and serve alcohol too. They proved that being employee owned is a step towards greatness. Thanks to all the staff!"
