"Worst manicure I’ve ever had. Nails were not filed evenly, Sloppy paint job and the worst part - all of the hangnails I now have 1 1/2 weeks after the cuticle trim. I’ve have never ever had issues with hangnails before. I honestly did not know it was possible to screw up a basic manicure but this place did it!"
"The owner Theresa did my nails at the end of the day & she did a wonderful job."
"I called in the afternoon on this previous Saturday (today is Wednesday) to see if they could fit my sister and I in at 4, which is an hour before they close. They agreed to take the appointment - which I was very grateful for. We waited 30 minutes for the owner and her mom to finish up with other customers. No big deal! The owner is very nice and personable, much chattier than I’m used to and I think that’s awesome! I don’t think the owners mom speaks English or at least doesn’t feel comfortable speaking to customers. Her mother did my nails while she did my sisters. We both got nail extensions (me tips, her acrylics) and did cat eye polish - mine with dip and my sisters with gel. I get extensions because my nails I think they provide added strength and make everything look even. I told her I wanted them pretty short. She cut them much longer than my liking but I am a veteran dip gal and know that they usually end up looking shorter after they are filed. And some techs file more than others. I felt really bad asking her to cut them and file them again after she finished filing the first time - they were just too long for my lifestyle. I don’t really remember her trimming my cuticles but here is where I get pretty unhappy. Upon completion they looked grown out already. I have been getting dip regularly since probably 2018 and have never thought this after getting my nails done before. My regular salon in Missouri does an amazing job, for considerably less money ($115 for both of us would’ve been $85 at my salon in Missouri, although they probably have more competitive pricing due to more competition). I came in with fresh nails after taking a break for a few months so there was nothing that should have caused her to not take the polish/dip to the cuticle line after trimming them up. They look like they’ve been on my nails considerably longer than 3 days and looked this way at completion, like I said. My largest concern and the only reason I decided to leave a review of my experience are the two places where she broke my skin on my cuticle line. They look raised, feel hard, and are larger than the cut that can occasionally happen when getting your nails done and that I have experienced before. I am concerned they are infected. I saw the clippers and other heads for their tool in a jar with a cloudy looking liquid. I know that it’s not cost effective for a small town salon to use fresh tools out of a package with every customer, but I’m worried about the cleanliness about the tools used on my nails. Especially when my skin gets broken and I’m bleeding. The cut areas definitely look worse than depicted in these photos. I tipped them each $15 dollars - $145 total for their service. I thought it was strange they had signs up regarding no refunds - but also understand that small businesses cannot afford their time to be wasted and unpaid for. I will not be back - but hope that both my concerns and praise will be considered by the establishment."
"I brought my 6 year old daughter here for her first (and probably last) manicure. We both had our nails done by the same lady. My daughter went first and kept wincing when the lady was cutting her cuticles. I figured she was probably just a little sensitive since she never had it done before until it was my turn. I work with my hands so I get knicks on my hands quite a bit but when I tell you I had to rip my hand away from her. She made me bleed twice from being so rough and careless. My finger is still swollen 6 hours later. Not to mention the really bad paintjob she did. Like paint on the side of my fingers even after she was done bad. I understand that a standard manicure with regular polish is probably the most not worth their time service they offer, but this was so bad. My daughter told me when we were leaving that she never wanted her nails done again. I still payed. I still tipped. But I will never be going back."
