"We are local to this diner but rarely go as it’s a tourist spot for those making the Route 66 drive! However, it’s a nice spot to enjoy a bit of coffee and have a simple breakfast on occasion, seating is limited so you have to time it just right or you find yourself waiting along the wall. They have expanded the parking which is a nice improvement! If you have a little one who loves the movie Cars this is a great stop for you as they have cars decor throughout the entire restaurant! The waitstaff is more often than not very pleasant. However, it’s hard not to feel like you’re being rushed as I mentioned seating is limited.. maybe 12 tables, not very large. Overall, definitely worth a visit at least once!"

"It's a cafe filled with nostalgia. Shared the Taco Salad and Spatzle & Cheese Appetizer with my friend. It was ok. Nothing special on either. Also took a piece of Poor Man's Pecan Pie to go. That was good. The cafe is neat with Route 66 memorabilia and cute Cars movie cutouts out front. Went to the gift shop next door. Had some unique items. I bought the Route 66 Scramble Squares. Haven't seen those puzzles since I was a kid."

"Lightning McQueen FANS Will Love this place! Every inch of this place screams Route 66 Attraction worthy of the sign outside the Restaurant. It Will take you back to 1939 when it first opened. Dawn Welch was tge inspiration behind Sally Carrera in the Pilar film CARS. Inside you will see posters from tge movie, collectively items all around and a friendly staff welcoming every hungry traveler with a welcoming hello and make you feel right at home. The food is the usual burgers and fries Plus more. Their food choices are so many that it calls for a menu almost as huge as our table! We ordered the bacon Cheese burger and the mushroom Swiss burger. Both were Very tasty and the latter was never short of a hearts serving of tender mushrooms in every bite. Our dessert was Dean’s grandma’s peach cobbler with the scoop of icecream araling the deal on a hot day. Ambience was CARS all the way. Service: A+++ Stop by. You wont regret it!"
