"I’m new in town and a friend referred me here. I love this shop. Friendly and Terrific meats. Can find everything basic to shop for. Their meat is fresh and hand cut. I gave up on big store meats for my stomach but this shop is perfect. I am enjoying my beef and chicken again Barbara Smith Atchison ks."

"Like Domenique’s or The Hardware Store, this is one of those small town treasures. They have hands down the best meats in town, and such a wide selection of groceries that you will ask yourself what the hell Walmart is doing with all that extra space."

"113 years and 5 generations in the family, this still is a great grocery store, with a lot of small town atmosphere. The service was outstanding and very friendly Besides the small town friendly atmosphere, the deli and the butcher shop stood out. On the deli side the ham salad is known as there stand out but I liked there assortment of cheeses, personally. The Meat side is more to my liking. I ended up buying and trying the Ham Salad, Hawaiian Bratwurst, Boss Hog sausage and some sausage links. All were really good but the Hawaiian Brat was my favorite. They also make there own rubs and spices that I am yet to try."

"Love this local grocery store! Their meat is great! My favorite is the boss hog sausage, but the ham salad is a close second! But you won't go wrong with any of the steaks or ground beef."
