"Amount of food was good for the price point but the quality was not to par. Had the shrimp and grits, it was a bit cold and the grits was not tasty at all or cheesy. The accompanying sauce was tasty but was a very small amount not even covering the grits. The grits themselves were clumpy. The French toast was beautifully presented, flavor was there but downside they were very oily. My table enjoyed the omelet. The hibiscus drink was delicious, that was the star of the whole meal. Would I recommend? Probably not."
"Was pleasantly surprised at how lovely this restaurant is. It was my first time and I made sure to make reservations for later this week. Reservations are required. The staff was very professional ,welcoming, and accommodating. The atmosphere was elegant and contemporary. Anthony was our server and he was ultra professional. Any issue we had he took care of immediately to make it right. The food was delicious. We went for brunch on Sunday. My associate has a little sticker shock as it was $55 per person. But it included 4 items, thick bacon, steak, french toast and potatoes which were delicious and filling by themselves. And it also included 1 of 8 entrees such as lobster omelet, Crab cakes, shrimp and grits, and several more. I got the lobster omelet. It was worth it as all was delicious. Drinks were 14 and my friend got a mango mojito I believe. The regular menu is for Wed to Saturday from 4 o'clock. I included a pic of that menu . Update; went for dinner and most was good. Had the fried snapper, Seafood pasta, duck Rangoon, and bourbon shrimp. The appetizers were absolutely delicious but a little skimpy considering the price. 3 Rangoon for 16. 5 shrimp for the same. The shrimp was mostly garnish to give the appearance of more. The fried snapper was huge and offered a fabulous presentation. Unfortunately the fish really didn't taste like much. No flavor and quite bland without the dips and sauces. Would have been better if they used the same seasoning as in the shrimp. The seafood pasta also had great presentation and tasted good. Could have used more garlic less lemon but good nonetheless. The restaurant was cold and they had no hot drinks to warm it up. Hopefully they will add it. Overall it's a good restaurant and definitely a place for special occasions."
"Everything was delicious except for l the shrimp and grits. Bacon, potatoes, french toast, and steak came for the table during brunch and ordered lobster omelet and shrimp and grits as entrees. Loved the ambiance and service. Large portions will definitely go back to try dinner"
"A fine dining soul seafood experience in landlocked Saint Louis- definitely one of the best for special nights (or a family brunch)- may remind you a bit of NOLA. Thoughtful decoration, amazing always smiling wait staff and a hard working General Manager Mr Thurman makes this place a shining star in CWE neighborhood. Reservation is highly recommend, finding parking on street may be sometime tough so plan accordingly. It took them some time to get us to our table even though we had reservation but once seated our server Aliyah made the experience amazing! Nice selection of craft cocktails, liquors and wine will complement the very creative artistic small plates and main courses. Beside the seafood menu they have very thoughtfully created vegetable dishes such as Carrot three ways, Flash fried Brussels! Duck Rangoon was great - wish it came more than just three in a plate. Some of the popular dishes such as whole fried Caribbean red snapper are a feast for the eye! Main course food portions are huge. Alligator tacos had a spicy touch!! The reason for my 4 star review is that even though we were party of three they had 4 guests listed in our bill and added 20% gratuity with additional suggested tip…so double check the bill-otherwise everything was great and definitely returning back!!"
"This restaurant is such a vibe! We were about an hour early for our reservation and the hostess was very accommodating. Staff was wonderful. They have nice outdoor seating, but I dined inside. Absolutely beautiful, vibey atmosphere with good music. I took my 12 yr old son, so they are kid friendly as well. Food delivered to your table keeping presentation in mind, and it was all delicious!"
