"I reserved the venue by putting $500 down. Due to unforeseen circumstances I cancelled the event 70+ days in advance and was not refunded any of the deposit. Just be mindful when scheduling that she will not refund if something comes up. On the day we booked, we bought lunch and it was disgusting - green beans and greens were salty. The rib tips were rubbery and tough to chew. Per the contract you are encouraged to use her caterers are be up charged. Lastly the venue is nice-but be aware and certain of your date and negotiate a different caterer."

"I was able to eat with them yesterday and let me say the food did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and tasted so good. I ordered the tripe sandwich, with potato salad and spaghetti. My fav was the spaghetti...it tasted home cooked, which I love. The owner, Mrs. Betsy, was so sweet and welcoming. I can't wait to go back to try more of their food."
