"We came here for dinner with high expectations as this was highly recommended to us. Our server was so sweet and accommodating I wish I could remember her name! Drinks were good, the beef carpaccio absolutely delicious!! Four out of the five us ordered steaks because we were told that’s what you get here!! The thirteen year old enjoyed his 32 ounce porter house. The rest of us ordered the 16 ounce NY strip. Mine with the add on lobster sauce. Underwhelmed… the sauce was a small dish on the side with not one morsel lobster just a little ramekin of orange sauce . Oh well, moving on to the steak overcooked and not seasoned. 3 out of the four of our steaks were over cooked. I will say they did offer to redo our steaks so they are trying to accommodate and that customer service detail is appreciated! I know restaurants have an off night and I get that but for the prices we paid it was not worth it."

"Beautiful outdoor area!! Multiple good dishes, like grilled cauliflower steak (no meat), rib (can order one piece) are must try."

"Overall I would give 4.5 if I could. The food and service were excellent with management checking on you regularly. The dry aged short ribs are worth going back for, but was not impressed with bourbon selection and it was very loud. Going with a group it would be no problem but as a date night it is difficult at times to have a conversation. Patio looks awesome and can’t wait to give that a try!"

"Cleaver & Cocktail is one of my favorite restaurants in STL for a nice dinner or great happy hour! The restaurant is gorgeous, the service is on point, and the food/cocktails are delicious! Be sure to try the Whipped Feta, Gnocchi, and the Beef Tenderloin.. and save room for the chocolate mousse!!"
