"We recently discovered this wonderful restaurant. The service is 10/10. The food is fantastic and the restaurant and bathrooms are very clean. This is my 3rd time here and am so impressed that I decided to write a review. The employees work really hard to satisfy the customer and they have done just that. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed."

"Ordered nachos supreme. Wasn't expecting too much for a st. Louis area Mexican restaurant. Turned out to be tasty and generous. Highly recommend for yummy Mexican food."

"Took a long time to get our drinks and food, the queso dip was not much of an appetizer, they barely had any chorizo or cheese, enough for maybe 2 tortillas. My girlfriend’s burrito plate felt like it was put in the microwave everything was chewy, beans and rice were dry. My carnita plate was also hard and chewy, more onions than meat, beans and rice also dry. My check was almost $70 not worth it at all, horrible food, never going back again. I recommend El Maguey better food and cheaper."

"Ordered take out and when I got home I realized they forgot something, so I had to drive back to the restaurant. When I finally sat down to eat I saw that they’d given me chicken enchiladas instead of cheese that I ordered. I’m vegetarian. It takes 2 seconds to look at what the customer ordered. So disrespectful and lazy. Even if I did eat chicken, this would still not look good at all. Never going back."

"This place has good food and they are quick. I don't mean quick like other people mean quick, I mean we didn't even have time to fill up on chips and salsa quick. Speaking of which, the chips were nice and warm and the salsa had a good flavor to it. The people were nice and and the food delicious. If you are a margarita fan, the top shelf margarita was well done. We will definitely be back."
