"Where do I start? This shop confirmed not once, not twice, but 3 times that they would be able to get my car in the shop for some extra repairs it needed. I called in November 2023 to schedule, which they stated they had an almost 2 month wait but I was ok with waiting. Called again in December 2023 to make sure all of the paperwork was sent over from my insurance, which the associate stated everything was good to go & handled. Schaefer called me two days prior to my appointment in January 2024 to confirm appointment, which I once again asked if the paper work was situated and I got a yes. The day of, the manager called and left a voicemail as I was heading out the door to go drop off my car. Stated they wouldn't be able to do the repairs at this time. I waited 2+ months for this appointment when they knew all along they couldn't do it. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Next time, be HONEST with your customers. DO NOT TELL THEM ONE THING AND DO ANOTHER. Thanks!"
"Schaefer Autobody Centers is a very Professional Business. They gave me an appointment time, they were prompt in greeting me upon my arrival. My estimate was completed in minutes and Jackie was kind throughout the Process. When I picked up my vehicle it had been detailed, looked great and I’m thankful for the good customer service. I didn’t meet the technicians, but I would imagine they’re a great team also."

"Our overall experience with Schaefer was excellent! My husband's parked car was struck on the rear driver's side door and the claims process was fast and easy for us. We were given an estimate from Schaefer in early July with an appointment in early September. I think we assumed (there's that word) that the parts needed to replace the door would be ordered while we were waiting for our appointment. We also assumed (yep, again) that it wouldn't take that long to repair once we dropped it off. We dropped it off the night before our appointment due to shift work conflicting with normal human business hours, and my husband then received an update the next day that the parts were being ordered. Wait, what? I called later that week for an update when my husband hadn't received one, and I explained to the Schaefer employee (Jackie) that we were not told that the process included not ordering parts before our appointment - although now we know it's so they can do a complete disassembly to see what is actually needed. Jackie was very kind and apologized for the miscommunication, and offered to help us secure a rental if we needed one. She said that they actually had to order more parts than anticipated after doing their review, but luckily the parts arrived when anticipated. Altogether, it took 7 business days before we got our car back, which was one day earlier than predicted. Bottom line, I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again! If there is a next time (hope not, knock on wood, etc.), we will know to not assume and ask more questions about the process. Thank you, Schaefer!"
