"We like Jose Peppers and Cactus Grill and have been to several locations. We wanted some Mexican food and had never been to the Mission location. Our servuce was great. Our food was great. We really liked the layout of this store and may make it our favorite. Its a big place and was very busy but we had no complaints."

"I hate to be this person - but I’m leaving this in hopes that.. I don’t know, a manager or owner see this and cares. You are understaffing your restaurant if a bartender doesn’t have time to be attentive to the 3 people sitting at their bar. This is the second time with the same bartender and manager working and zero bar guests that I’ve come in just to be completely ignored. It’s happy hour, and your bar is empty. Don’t you want to try and over feed us and let us have more than one round? It’s 4 PM, we didn’t show up 5 minutes before your HH ends. Foods adequate and we love a HH but margs are typically weak and service continues to be atrocious recently."

"I truly believe this is the best one in the KC metro. I visit Jose Peppers often and most are still good but this one the food is always amazing. And the service is always great and they are possibly the fastest restaurant I have been to. This location specifically I will go out of my way if I'm in the area to eat lunch there even if I wasn't planning on going out for lunch"

"Jose pepper's has been solid for years. We had to wait at the table for twenty minutes for the rest of our party. Waiter was attentive for that period and ordering, granted we were meeting for dinner at 430, after that they could have done a little better. Forgotten drinks, waiting for water. Waiting for the bill. It wasn't bad. Just could have been more consistent on the service."

"Jose Peppers is a popular spot to enjoy a meal in Kansas City if you are craving stuffed burritos, fresh salsa and light chips, perfectly seasoned rice and beans, creamy enchiladas and more. One of my favorite entrees, along with several others, is the Pollo Magnifico burrito that is stuffed with seasoned chicken and cheese along with a side of rice and beans. I also enjoy going on Taco Tuesday for taco deals, specifically the $8 platter with 1 large taco and a side of rice and beans. Jose Peppers’ salsa tastes so incredibly delicious that they have their salsa in containers within grocery stores. I’d also recommend ordering the Espinaca Con Queso appetizer for your table. Jose Peppers has a large bar menu with fun cocktails along with a happy hour. Make sure to try the cornmeal ball on your plate…it is wonderful!"
