"We came here for the Pupusas, a favorite Salvadoran dish! They had so many filling options for the Pupusas and they were all delicious! Make sure to ask for the salsas to go with, but beware, they pack some HEAT! Service was very nice and the atmosphere quite festive!"
"Went here with my friend last night. This is some of the best Salvadoran food I've had in KS. Everything was flavorful and the prices were good for what you get. I hope this place stays here for a long time so I can get more papusa's."
"The Papusa is an authentic El Salvadoran dish. They come in various fillings inside a pan fried flour based wrapper. Absolutely delicious!! The cabbage side salad and homemade salsa are refreshing and paired perfectly with the papusas. My favorite flavors were pork, queso, and loroco. The taco was very flavorful. Fried yucca is richer than French fries. The horchata drink is a must try. It gives you a cooling milky energy punch. The interior building was very clean and has plenty of tables for dine in. We will return for other menu items."
"I recently tried this restaurant for breakfast with my family. The menu is in Spanish with a one or two word description in English after each listing. This made it a little difficult to choose, but the waitress was really helpful. I ordered the stuffed bread. I was really surprised at how good it was. I didn't expect to like all the ingredients listed, but I loved it. I noticed there was crumbled white cheese in the dish and when I asked about it she said they make it in the back. This is a perfect way to explain the flavors. Everything was fresh and blended together well. They had a freshly made green salsa that my wife and I both loved. My wife and daughter shared a dish. They substituted french fries for beans at my daughter's request. My daughter didn't like the fried plantains but I thought they were good. They also have a small party room and even an upper level that can be reserved for private events. All in all, I would say this is a good restaurant with an authentic menu that you should try."
