"While in town for the day my wife was craving breakfast food. Thought to try Slingers for the first time as the reviews were overall good. The Slammers were good. The hash browns are ok, scrambled eggs didn’t have any seasoning so all we tasted was liquid eggs most likely poured from a carton, bacon was a great size but they place it under the gravy so you end up getting soggy bacon. For soggy bacon, it wasn’t bad. The star of the slammer was the gravy. Now I can’t wait to try their biscuits and gravy. It taste real and is really really good, like something someone would make at home if they didn’t make sausage gravy. The pancakes had that good diner taste. FYI the takeout box doesn’t come with syrup but I was heading to a house that had syrup so I wasn’t mad. The french toast also had that good diner taste. They weren’t overloaded with cinnamon or powered sugar. FYI they also didn’t come with syrup. I didn’t give 5 stars as it was good but at $30+ I’d wish for better hash browns, eggs and to include syrup (especially if I were going to a park to eat)."
