"A tiny little place with a huge character. Though this place may be small in size, the food and service pack a punch. The sushi is made when you order it, and don't forget to check out all you can eat for 30 dollars. Sushi, not your cup of tea? Well, they have more than just that. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Marvin. Very friendly man who not only cares about his business but his people. This is a great place, and if your ever in Branson hit this place up. We will return"
"Was really looking forward to trying the all you can eat sushi. BUT all you can eat sushi requires that every person in your table get all you can eat it regardless of whether they want to or not and so it's $30 per person whether they eat it or not. So instead my boyfriend and I just got our own things and I got three sushi rolls and he got the spicy tonkatsu (pork) Ramen. Unfortunately I cannot eat cucumbers due to an allergy. I requested that the rolls that usually contain cucumber to be prepared without cucumber due to an allergy. Our waitress (very respectful and kind!) brought back the rolls and there was holes where the cucumbers used to be. We just sent it back and asked for them to be taken off the bill. Out of the three I ordered I was able to eat one and it was decent 6.5/10. The quality of sushi should have been better for the price you pay. there are definitely better options when you get closer to Springfield or Kansas City or St. Louis. The spicy pork Ramen was delicious, the all you can eat policy and cucumber debacle was just unpleasant. Also poor lighting inside but the fire rolls had amazing presentation."
"We are from San Antonio Texas and this is the best sushi we’ve had so far. We had the pirate roll it was warm due to the perfectly fried shrimp and delicious. The kids got bento boxes and loved all of it. We had miso ramen it was good as well. But I would definitely come back for the sushi."
"First off, all you can eat sushi. Sounds scary at first, I mean we were weary but gave it a go anyway. But it's fantastic. Me and my wife weren't expecting such big portions so we tapped out early, flavor wise it was amazing. Definitely give them a try. Even if you aren't doing all you can eat, the prices are still good. I'd pay a premium for there sushi though. Dare I say it's the best in Branson, and maybe best in swmo."
"Update Review July 2023 After discovering Mitsu Neko last year we were anxious to return on this trip. Unfortunately I can’t say I’m a fan of the changes. We were impressed last year at the atmosphere they had created, other reviews have mentioned this to, so it makes no sense that they completely lost that by adding a “store” area right as you enter. While a little Asian market is an interesting idea it should be in back and completely separated from the dining area. There was a slightly “off” odor, not so bad that we didn’t stay but needs addressed. My original review complemented the Jazz being played as it gave it a classy vibe, that has been replaced by far less appealing J-Pop. The seating area now in a lower side area seems cramped. The sushi bar is uninviting especially with screens overhead. The service remains good but the sushi rolls were not as terrific as our last visit. Especially disappointing was the Eel Roll with no noticeable eel. The Branson Roll was much better. I hope Mitsu is doing well, these changes seem to be a bit desperate. I would hope the owner would seek wise council and reconsider some of the changes. Original Review July 2022 Terrific sushi and service. Extra points for playing Jazz instead of the junk most sushi restaurants now deem acceptable. We have dined at the sushi place downtown, it’s comparable however the lack of crowd and noise gives Mitsu Neko a decisive edge."
