"I loved the ONE experience I had but everytime I tried to call to schedule an appointment the office was closed for the day. Left messages and no one ever got back to me."

"I went here for years. I agree that it's hard to get anyone to answer the phone. They are always "closed for the day" but the dentist was very sweet. That said, I had a tooth that presented sensitivity when flossed for years. I was continually told nothing was wrong with it but finally went for a second opinion somewhere else because it was getting way worse. After x-rays and 3D imaging, I was told I needed a root canal. ROOT CANAL. I have never even had a cavity. You can imagine the look on my face. I laid in this new dentist chair pissed. Super pissed that this was never caught. It was obvious, even to me, on the x-rays I looked at. The new dentist asked if this dentist was blind. Two nerves were affected, in between two teeth (just like I had said, when I flossed!) And it went on for years until I am now unable to chew or drink on that side of my mouth. Luckily, it is not expected to be infected because I am a good brusher but the cost and pain, and now the annoyance of having a root canal, just did me in. I'm so mad and will never recommend this office. Following up, I actually had 3 other cavities that were never noticed. They even have brown spots on my teeth! How these went unnoticed at this office is beyond me. I'm super disappointed."

"Frank is fantastic! You do however have to look past his front staff who can come off pretty gruff at 1st. although she really is nice. If you know to expect that upfront, you're better prepared and can get to Frank who is worth it. His personality is great and makes your fears of sitting in the dentist chair disappear. Explains everything clearly. Even when I moved to West County & had hundreds of other dentists available to me who were much closer. I still went back to Frank!"

"I recently switched dentists after moving to Saint Louis. After reading reviews online I picked out Dr. Simokaitis's office. The experience has been awful. The woman who runs the front desk is totally incompetent and rude. I've tried twice now to make an appointment. The first time I called at 12:55PM, she answered and told me to call back another time, since she didn't want to enroll new patients. So I waited a week and called. Same woman answers, asks for my last name. I tell her my last name, on which she promptly 'corrects' me, telling me that my own last name can't possibly be correct. I then ask to make an appointment, upon which she tells me that they're waiting for the mail before they can enroll new patients. "Call back some other time." I don't know what is going on in this office, but the staff answering the phones are completely incompetent. Save your time and go elsewhere...anyplace else. I'll be switching dentists."
