"Amazing experience! Thank you Vader's for the Best GLUTEN free friend chicken sandwich ever! This is gluten free heaven, practically everything but the tortillas can be done Gluten free! Run don't walk, don't wait cause it's so awesome, you can't tell it's GF!!! Oh and even gluten free beer!!!! It was wonderful for our celiac daughter to have yummy bar food available!!!! "We have been looking for a place that accommodates gluten free eaters for awhile. And I had looked at reviews prior to going but we decided to give it a try. The best chicken sandwich I’ve had in a long while. It was huge and delicious. My fiancé is gluten free so he loved the gluten free beer and food options also. Also it has a bar like atmosphere, so it’s exactly what we had wanted/ expected. Every person we interacted with was kind and helpful even though they were busy. Our food and drinks were out in a very timely manner. And our waitress kept our sodas filled.. great experience. Was very impressed! We will be back!"
"Oh man! We have been waiting to try Vader's for quite some time now, so we decided to pop in while waiting for the kids to be done with a homecoming dance. We walked in the back door and immediately a horrible, musty smell smacked us in the face. It's hard to put into words the actual smell. It was like walking into an old building that had standing water in it for months. It was hard to breathe and I was just plain miserable, but we walked in and we were committed to the mission. Staying was a mistake for sure. After sitting at the bar for about ten minutes, the bartender finally approached so we ordered two pints of Yuengling. During our wait for the bartender we looked online at the food menu, we were not offered one and we thought about getting a bite to eat. After looking online, we decided that "bar food" didn't sound good, nor did we trust eating anything from the establishment. After putting my phone down for menu-viewing, I took two drinks and couldn't do it. The beer tasted horrible, like a chemical substance so I walked to my car to grab a mint, returned inside and asked my spouse if we could just pay and leave. The walls and bar area are filled with cool memorabilia, pictures, lights, and signs. Our favorite was a small statue of a gentleman smoking a cigar. While walking out I made the mistake of looking in the kitchen. I couldn't help but take a picture (the door was wide open), literally the monstrosity of a kitchen couldn't possibly produce anything we would want to put in our bodies. Kitchen pics attached to this post, as well as the buckets on a table and in a high chair collecting water dripping from the ceilings. We will stick with Austin’s for sure!!! *NOTE: my reviews are balanced. I leave positive AND negative reviews, I try as hard as possible to point out positives whenever possible."
"DO NOT EAT HERE… DEAD BUG, LOTS OF GREASE, AND ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Today I ordered a Chickenator with Parm Tots for lunch. I asked for the Vader sauce on the side instead of in the sandwich and added chipotle ranch on the side. As soon as I left and opened my food I realized that they didn't put the Vaders sauce on the side (it was still on the sandwich) and that they didn't give me my ranch that I had paid extra for. I decided it wasn't that big of deal but as soon as I took a bite of the sandwich I saw what looked like a dead bug on the inside of the sandwich wrapper. I started to inspect my sandwich and ended up finding a 1-2 inch hair under the top bun. At that point I knew I wouldn't be able to eat the sandwich but was happy to still have my tater tots. I opened the package and there was so much grease! I don't typically complain but at this point I wasn't eating any of it so I called to ask for a refund. I was immediately told by the lady who answered and then by the male she passed the phone to that 'The cook is bald so I don't know how there could be a hair in your food'. I started to explain that there is hair everywhere and before I could finish I was cut off with 'Oh now there is hair everywhere?' I kindly explained that there is hair everywhere and it can come from anywhere and that it does not have to come off of someones head to land in my food. I then went on to explain how I never got the ranch on the side that I was charged for and that the tater tots were also covered in grease. I was told 'Well ya they are cooked in grease.' I stated that I obviously understood but that there was way too much and that I couldn’t even eat it. I asked for a refund since it was an all-around bad experience and I wouldn't be eating any of it. I was told that they do not refund pick up orders since they cannot confirm if there's a real issue. I could tell that this guy was not interested in resolving anything based on the tone in his voice. He did not offer any other solution (remake the food, partial refund, credit for next time, etc.) and the lack of professionalism was unreal. I let him know that clearly he is not focused on customer service or resolving the issue and that I would just leave a review online to which he hung up on me. I literally have not had to deal with such terrible customer service in a very long time. I was shocked at the amount of attitude I received from both of the staff there. Prior to ordering my food I looked at the overall rating they had on google and was excited to try something new. After my experience, I looked at the other one star reviews and I am shocked by the owners responses! He often implies that customers are not being honest, that they are trying to intentionally hurt his family’s business, he makes excuses, and takes no responsibility for any of the complaints. I’m sure I’ll also receive a hateful response. I rarely leave reviews but I voiced my concerns over the phone and not once did they apologize or try to offer a solution. Trust me, don't waste your time or money on this place!"
