"ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE. I've lost count of the number of horrible experiences i have had with Dr. Purcell. He lied and claimed he did not take his own xrays of my mouth after I went to a specialist and they found a neoplasm that deteriorated my bone. One month before my braces were put on, my xrays were normal apart from an infection in my front tooth that had experienced trauma. After this finding, i asked for copies of my xrays and he claimed he never took any. When i told him i clearly remember taking them, he claimed they didn't turn out so they tossed them. I clearly remember taking some because i had to take my nose ring out and it was freshly pierced..it hurt. i had told him numerous times my front teeth were hurting in a different way compared to the rest and he dismissed it as normal. i am now going to lose three teeth because he did not listen to my concerns. He then referred me to have the wrong teeth pulled. After numerous incidences, I decided to leave his care. I got opinions from 3 separate orthodontists who all said his care was incorrect and my bite would never have matched up. Getting a refund is like pulling teeth. I left 5 messages regarding my refund and not one was returned. I showed up unannounced to force him to take steps regarding my money. 2 months later, i just spoke with him regarding an update on the return of payment because i have not heard anything. I need my refund because i need to pay my new ortho very soon. We spoke for less than a minute and he abruptly hung up on me before i could ask all of my questions. This is not the first phone call i have had with him where he was short and rude. He is being extremely unprofessional and i would caution anyone considering using him for your orthodontic needs. UPDATE: It is now months later and he refuses to return my calls regarding my refund which leaves me having to pay more now to hire an attorney to handle this matter. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional practice in my life. DO NOT USE HIS SERVICES."
