"Wild Blue Yonder is the absolute best outdoor merchandise store with the most amazing selection of activewear, shoes and clothing, hats, bags and everything in between. The girls working there are very knowledgeable about the merchandise they sell and are so helpful, making the shopping experience fun! Julie, the manager, is so attentive and smart. She knows her customers and keeps her eye out for merchandise she knows they will like. I buy my adult children’s Christmas gifts there every year and Julie never disappoints. She steers me in the direction of what she knows they will like and like, they always do! When my kids come into town to visit, a trip to Wild Blue Yonder is always on the agenda. I have been shopping there for 25 years and I am seriously going to miss this wonderful little store."
"It all started during covid when the extremely rude shop owner chewed me up one side and down the other because she didn't approve of my mask and yelled across the store and asked me to leave. I didn't leave a review at the time because I usually never do that, I just internally noted that I would never step foot back in her business. Fast forward to her going out to business sale (couldn't have come fast enough) and I thought well maybe I would check it out because as some sort of payback I would at least be getting half price. Upon entering her store I engaged in small talk in which she snapped back at me and began to argue with me. So...... her closing is a perfect reflection of her personality and her terrible business practices. We can easily buy online for probably a better price but wanted to shop locally. Customer service is number one in small retail stores. I know it doesn't matter now but it should teach you a lesson in grace and how to treat people. Needless to say I won't even shop there at a 50% discount. And it wasn't the employees, it was the owner"
"Great brands for outdoor or socializing. I found a pair of Dovetail Workwear pants that will last many gardening seasons. It's worth going to the upper level to take a look."
"Lovely store that was warm and inviting! Knowledgeable about products and incredibly helpful. Vast and varied selection from well established brands, some of which were on sale. It was very pleasant shopping here!"
"I never felt so uncomfortable in my life . Even today when I walk by this place I cringe. During mask mandates, 3 of us walked in the store. The lady was like a hawk on us . As I was talking to a friend , my mask slips a tad down my face . Well guess who came up in my face and rudely screams " you need to pull your mask up " before I had a chance to adjust my mask . You guessed it ! That mean ole woman working . Etiquette is everything, she has none. You would think you would be nice and sell stuff , not run people off . Remember, it's all in the delivery when your trying to get something across ..."
