"Dang…. We love this place on the lake and were excited to see one open closer to our home. We came here occasionally for the lobster roll, as it was one item they did differently than most any other Springfield-area restaurant. Most other items on the menu I can get at most other restaurants but the lobster roll stood out. When we arrived today, no more lobster roll on the menu. Everything else is good but not a standout for the item or the value. Ultimately I ordered our normal appetizer to share, my wife ordered an entree for herself. I’ll skip and grab takeout on the way home. I can get a burger cheaper elsewhere and just as good. I can get shrimp anywhere. Hopefully, these guys won’t miss the business. We didn’t come often but it’s all I came for and now we’re unlikely to return. Tonight our seafood dip tasted like mayonnaise that had canned clam juice added and the “shipwreck” chicken had a weirdly mushy texture."

"I ate here for the first time on Friday. The food was amazing. I had the Catfish Basket and the Gator Bites. Both were great. I haven't had gator since my last vacation to Florida, so that was an awesome treat to have close to home, and was equally well prepared here. I can't believe I didn't know this place existed until recently. I love it, and the prices are good as well. I'm not lowering my rating for this, because everything was top notch, but I wish they had delivery. I called, and they said they are thinking about adding delivery. I think that is a great idea, because I am usually in meetings, and often can't leave to get food. Some restaurants that I enjoy in Nixa don't get much business from me because of this, otherwise I would order from them often. I think it would attract new customers, and generate a lot of profit for a restaurant that I hope to see stick around in Nixa for a long time. That is my only suggestion, based on my experience. Thanks for a great meal and experience."

"We had the most amazing time! My family came to visit from out of town and it was such a fabulous night. The service was phenomenal, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so fun! So worth the drive from Springfield to Nixa on a Monday night after work. No doubt we'll be back and I cannot wait!"

"This place is a hidden gem! It has fantastic food. I ordered the lobster roll and it blew my mind away! It was completely stuffed with lobster and had that nice buttery taste. I also got the gator tail bites and they were the best ones I have had. The service was also amazing, Amber was our server and she was super friendly and helpful! Over all 10/10 restaurant."

"We went to watch a local bluegrass band, so we sat outside. The seating was at wooden picnic tables and the area was nicely shaded and the stage set up was nice. Outside in the front of the restaurant, they have an old car and a plane and a big statue of a soldier on a horse. In the outside area in the back, they had some chairs made out of old stock tanks and an old ship. The food was good, but a little bit bland (just ask for a salt shaker). The portions were ginormous. We should have realized this by the price, but it was our first time there and we bought way too much food. Arrive very hungry or prepare to share. (The items on the menu are expensive, but you get a lot of food. I tried to take pictures, but I'm not sure it did the serving size justice.) The portion sizes were large enough that another customer on his way to his table stopped and commented on it."
