"Sent an inquiry to have questions answered and never heard back. After reading the reviews I can see why I never got a response. Looking elsewhere and spreading the word."
"I ordered a set of 20” S77 wheels for my 2021 F-150 back in 2020, took months to get them as usual. I finally received the wheels, they look amazing, but I kept having one constantly losing air, by accident I found it washing the wheels. I contacted Weld, sent video, I was sent paperwork in June to send the wheel back. After receiving the wheel, it took weld took a week to decide whether or not they would replace it, wheel was not repairable, so I was informed I would be getting a new wheel and it would take a month. Fast forward to mid July, I get the new wheel, take it to Discount tire and have them put it on the balancing machine minus the tire per Welds instructions, wheel was warped. I immediately contacted Weld and spoke to customer service about this, was instructed that the wheel needed to be checked for roll out. Long story short, I sent the wheel back to Weld for inspection, it was decided “AGAIN” that I would be getting another new wheel. Fast forward to mid September after calling and complaining about how long it took to get my wheel, I received the new wheel, again go to discount tire and put the “new wheel” on the balancing machine per Welds policy, the new wheel is warped. I’ve been without a wheel on my truck for 3 months now and guessing I’m gonna have to wait another month for them to build me another wheel, this is disheartening. Im not sure how this happens, quality control must be non existent for some reason. I would like to think that they would put me at the top of the list knowing all the problems I’ve had. I guess we will see what happens. Too bad I can’t load the videos to show everyone how bad both wheels were."
"Trucers, here is for pick up and delivery.Be careful here because street all around are so tight,so you need to take you turn at front of shipping docks and then park on the dock.Do not try to go throught this tight street, you will get stuck!I had pick up,it was fast."
"Weld quality control is non-existence. 3 wheels have a similar issue!!!! Purchased brand new Weld S71 RTS set for Supra. One of the 15" wheel had a leak between spoke and drum. Sent video to Weld and got a replacement. Replacement wheel had a similar leak. Sent video again to Weld and got another replacement which also has a same leak. This has been going on for over 4 months now and I still do not have my car. This will be the last time I will buy Weld wheels for any of my car. Very disappointed and frustrated."
"We purchased a set of weld s76's for our trans am. Very simple set of wheels. The rear end was narrowed 1" so we needed a backspacing to reflect that. And 5x4.75 lug pattern since its a gm. 6 weeks later the wheels arrived. The fronts had major machining defects. The rears were beautiful, but were made with the wrong lug pattern. I contacted weld and spoke with Heather. She asked for pictures of the fronts. And she got me a return label for the rear wheels to be returned to replace them with the correct lug pattern. (Our invoices even showed them ordered correctly, but they got through the manufacturing process and never caught they were wrong) So i told Heather from the beginning that i hope they decide how to fix the fronts asap. That way im not waiting once i get good rear wheels. So a week goes by and i dont hear back from weld. So i contacted them again and spoke with heather again. And she claimed engineering hasnt given her a response yet. So another week goes I by and the same phone call and same response from Heather. So then 22 days in im starting to get frustrated because i have front wheels with major defects. So i contact Heather again. (This is along with several emails) and Heather now said engineering said they arent gonna do anything with the machining defects on the fronts and to just "polish the defects out." I explained once again that the defects are literally gouges in the aluminum from the cnc machines tool with what looked to be a broken bit or the machine was programmed incorrectly. I told her i wanted to email more pictures to her. So the next day i received the new rears, and i spoke with her again. She said to send the fronts back now. But now the rears fit correctly but now they have similar machining defects as the fronts. At this point i was fed up with not getting a quality product and i told weld if they would give me some kind of partial refund i would just keep the wheels with the defects. Weld offered $200 back. Which in my opinion for the defects and the massive run around i had from them it was kind of a slap in the face for wheels that cost $3250. So our show car will now have wheels. But with defects. And we are 2 weeks in to their offer of $200 back and havent seen that either. Another note here ive seen chinese jegs wheels with better machining quality. I guess the made in the usa pride doesn't matter to weld. Beware if you want perfection, dont buy from weld"
