Reviews
"I love giving local hometown places my business but we will never come back here, we waited well over an hour for 2 burgers, our order was wrong when we finally got it. Absolutely ridiculous. I wish we’d have looked at all the reviews before stopping here, multiple reviews of the same thing of people waiting to long for food that is just mediocre."
"Nice find. Food was food and the fried pies were amazing. Chicken fried steaks were massive."
"Quaint little Cafe that serves breakfast (served until 1pm), lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday from 8am-8pm, and Sunday open until 2pm Went back again for breakfast, chicken fried steak and ham steak were both very good and the B&G and fried pies were delicious."
"This little out of the way country cafe was a true delight. Great service from Sandy and all the other patrons were super friendly and welcoming too. It’s small inside and very down home. They have a big menu, breakfast, lunch-burgers-chicken fingers, and dinner as well. It’s country faire, so fried steak/chicken/pork tenderloin. Plus, ribs and catfish etc. tasty homemade sides to choose from: fried okra, onion rings, fries, cole slaw, potato salad. I had the pork tenderloin with Mac n cheese and okra. My husband had the catfish. We enjoyed everything-the country gravy was real and real good too! We had to get a few signature hand pies to go- huge flavor selection and made with love. This will be our go-to for homemade southern supper."
"Wow! This place is amazing. I found it on Google and as I'm a fan of chicken fried steak I just had to visit. To say it is good, is an understatement. It was as if it came from grandma's kitchen. Homemade and delicious! The potatoes are real and the fried okra always amazing. There was a seasoning on it that took it over the top. Things to keep in mind: this location is small and there was only one waitress. This means that you might either have to wait for your food or for drinks. I felt that we were served really fast but a couple walked in and in less then 2 mins walked out as the waitress wasn't there to seat them right away. They missed out on one of the best homemade meals I've ever had."
