"Set up rental over the phone then called the day before to see how it was going to work with 24/7 rental. She told me they didn't have the size I reserved and she had to call and find out if 1 was coming. She said it was the websites fault but I booked it through her. She was supposed to call back to let me know but didn't. When I called she didn't answer & voicemail was full. Then I called from a different number and she answered. Said the truck was supposed to be back that night when we drove by, it wasn't. Then the morning of pick up we get there & they did have the truck but I went through an hour ordeal with the app because my reservation wasn't set up for 24/7. We will never rent another truck from them recommend going to Nevada and not using the app!"

"We've rented from this Uhaul several times and never had a problem. The owner has gone our of her way for her customers, even offering to pick up the truck key which my husband had forgotten to put in the box."

Being a new resident to El Dorado Spings it seems a good idea to read up on the locals. I am and have been a strong supporter of local business where ever I have lived. Sort version: I will rent from dealer in Nevada. Read the reviews. It isn't difficult to figure out how ended up renting from dealer in Nevada."

"Rented a truck that was caked in what smelled to be manure. Dead bugs had to be swept out of the back. U-Haul advertises air conditioning, but it did not work. I baked in manure, in temperatures hot enough to melt Pop-tart icing for 9 hours on the way to Alexandria, LA, which had a raw temperature of 104 that day. Had to stop almost every hour to rehydrate and wait for lightheadedness to go away. Weather stripping came loose immediately, distorted mirror view, and driver's side stripping had to be rolled up in window to keep from breaking glass. I filed a complaint immediately and was promised I'd be contacted within 48 hours. After no contact, I called 50 hours later and learned that it would actually be 72 hours and that the original U-Haul agent failed to record crucial parts of my complaint. After 72 hours, I called again only to be informed the complaint was considered "resolved" because one hour before, the Missouri regional manager left a voicemail on the phone number that was listed on the rental account. Considering a complaint resolved after leaving a voicemail is very on brand with my U-Haul experience. A message sent is NOT a message received. Missouri regional manager, Chris, offered a pre-determined 50% off before even seeing pictures of vehicle conditions. He noted I should've called roadside assistance, which one has to pay extra for when booking a truck. Clearly, customer safety is worth merely 50%, unless the customer is willing to put more money in U-Haul's greedy pockets. Do yourself a favor and rent a truck from Enterprise, Budget Truck, Penske, Ryder, or somewhere local. I'll gladly throw away my belongings before moving with U-Haul again."
