"This is MY personal opinion and I decided to share MY experience with Dr. Newberry. I had a root canal with Dr. Newberry on Nov. 16th and it felt fine for the first few days. Then I've developed a sore area above the root canal tooth and have constant pain. My PCP at Washington University was concerned something was wrong. I went back to Dr. Newberry due to my PCP’s concern. Sadly he used scare tactics with me by saying that I needed to go to an oral surgeon and they would likely take out my tooth, possibly all the teeth on that side even though I asked him to first tell me what was wrong and causing the issues. Oddly he never answered that question but was sure I would have my teeth pulled. Mind you I'm on Zometa infusions for breast cancer and teeth extractions can cause jaw necrosis. A serious condition and hard to treat jaw disease. He knew this was the possibility I’d face with my infusion and without any explanation kept telling me I’d have my teeth pulled. All that drama was totally without compassion since he doesn’t have a crystal ball for the future. He had no idea what was causing my pain and I question his ability to draw such a drastic conclusion. He also said he’s seen oral surgeons, which is where he wanted to refer me to, do this to others. So I didn’t take his referral to those oral surgeons. I will ask for a referral from my oncologist for one since this is a great health risk for me. This was the worst experience I've had with a dental professional and I wanted to share my opinion. (HIPPA laws don’t allow doctors to disclose information from patient's medical appointments and records without patient permission.)"

"Dr. Newberry is a Master in his job! A decade ago he did an incredible job with root canal and surgery procedure with abscess that I had. And couple weeks ago he did another root canal procedure. During procedure I really loved how he was explaining step by step what he was doing and I could feel how highly expertise he is in what he is doing. The most what I was surprised I absolutely was pain free after root canal! That is ideal! ☆☆☆☆☆"
