"Would highly recommend Tom and his guys. After having issues with my f-550 that was due to another shops bad workmanship, I called multiple shops and Tom’s was the only one that seemed remotely interested in actual lying trying to help solve the issue quickly. With it being a warranty issue with another shop it wasn’t super straightforward on what the best process needed to be. Tom helped me figure out the issue and a game plan for getting the work done under warranty of the other shop, saving me some money. Very knowledgeable and Tom personally took time to answer all of my questions via text. All of my trucks will be headed to Tom’s in the future."
"Tom's diesel fixed my engine problems when the dealership told me my diesel engine needed to be replaced with 90,000 miles and 7 years old. Great mechanics, very professional demeanor with everyone. They always see me within 24 hours."
"Went in for a mvi they were pretty busy but collen made sure to work me in right then and there and got me taken care! Tom’s diesel crew were amazing!"
"I've used Tom's Diesel for a few issues. The largest being a turbo replacement. The guys were patient and engaged each time and answered all of my questions regarding the quotes. While there was an ongoing issue after the turbo replacement, Tom's was very helpful in diagnosing the issue and always prioritized my truck when I asked. They even met off site multiple times to perform additional diagnosis, just for my convenience. These guys are knowledgeable, trustworthy, and transparent. I will continue to use Tom's for my diesel trucks."
"I am writing this review as a warning to others of my experience with Tom's Diesel Shop. My experience with Tom's was not good. My Ford F250 diesel broke down near there shop. It had some fuel issues so it would idle but it was sputtering and would not accelerate properly. I had never used Tom's before but they had good Google reviews. So I had my truck towed there. It was a Thursday and I was told they would look at it Friday or Monday. A week later and after two calls later they finally provided me with an estimate. The estimate was for over $2,000 to replace some sensors that the code threw up as faulty. I was told by "The Boss" the guy that works at the front desk that, even though the sensors had nothing to do with the fuel problem, they would need to be replaced before they could begin to trouble shoot the real problem. Needless to say, I had my truck towed to another shop. It ended up needing the injection control pressure sensor replaced. It ended up costing me $627 at the other shop. And that was after I payed Tom's $162 for the evaluation and waited over a week to have my vehicle towed somewhere else. Come on really! Over $2000 to replace sensors that were unimportant (my truck runs just fine right now and they were not replaced) so then you can begin to troubleshoot the actual problem. Tom's may do good work, at least according to the Google reviews, however, my experience with Tom's was anything but positive. My truck will not visit Tom's again any time soon."
