"I’ve been debating for weeks wether to post this or not as I Don’t really like leaving negative reviews. If I could give zero starts I would. However- be careful about going here. I brought my car in for a state inspection and it was ridiculous. Which is sad bc it’s so close to my home and had I been treated right they would have been getting regular business from me. Not now. First I came in and I was the only customer in the garage. The mechanic would barley acknowledge me and was super cold. (Fine. Maybe it was a bad day. I get that). He said he had time to do the inspection. I sat down and 10 min later, the mechanic was still sitting at the desk (no cars in the bay) when a man from out of town walked in and the mechanic welcomed him like they were best friends. Even got up to great him. The man asked if the mechanic had time to do a quick oil change and the mechanic said “oh sure, go ahead and pull it on into the bay”, Getting the oil change started and almost done before even pulling my car in (Neither of us had appointments). Then due to the garage being so dim he couldn’t read my vin number and was trying to by shining a flash light onto a strip of metal! (Even I know better than that- it’s called reflection). He called me in to show me he couldn’t read it and when I showed that you can read it and it’s located on 3 other parts of the car not to mention the years of paperwork I had with me showing it was clearly the right car and mine, he said he didn’t want to ‘risk’ it and said I needed to take it to Springfield. When I left I went to 3 other places (3 to find someone who had time to do an inspection that day) and each garage came out and said they could read the VIN number just fine and the guy was just being lazy. Well here’s what I believe to be true: I’ve been raised by just my mother since I was 10. I have worked on my own car and hers since I was 15. I know when I’m being treated wrong due to being a female and this place is ‘one of those places’ so women and younger men- please be careful. It could be laziness but I have a lot more money on the fact that I was discriminated against. But hey. What do I know?!"
