"Today my and my sister wanted to go get coffee, with no new shops to try open and, our regular place closed we came here. Ordered our coffee’s, she got a simple, hot vanilla latte, and I got a dirty chai. Which are fairly simple drinks. We tasted them and immediately were not pleased because the coffee in them tasted quite sour and old. Simply not great. Now that would’ve been a one off thing, oh well maybe she pulled the shots wrong. I went to get a refund which I hate to do cause I don’t like being a bother but 12$ for two coffees is a lot, and I didn’t want to feel like I wasted my money. The lady who seemed to be in charge wasn’t mean exactly, but what rubbed me wrong was how inappropriately she handled the situation. Which I understood she had to get on the phone to handle it. But out loud on the phone while I’m standing right there she said, I pulled the shots perfectly and no body else complained today so I don’t know. Like we were the issue and she sounded quite annoyed. I thought it was very rude. My sister likes their food but I will not be coming back personally ever. Fast food establishments handle refunds better than that. My only assumption is the reason for the bad taste was that their machine wasn’t clean because if you pull a shot perfectly and your coffee is sour like that the water is dirty from old grounds getting up in the machine when you put your portafilter basket in. But no way to know. Hopefully everyone else’s experience there was better than mine today."

"The atmosphere is great and has a very good coffee shop vibe. Very roomy, tables are not to close. Good menu for breakfast and lunch. I had biscuits and gravy, good flavor, and big portions. Mocha was good and they have several sugar free flavors. I will be back."

"I, being pregnant, had a craving for a good sandwich and a fantastic iced coffee. After doing some research I found The Well had the best prices with a great rating. Plus it's a new place to try so it was quite exciting. It's a lot bigger on the inside than you would think, but the tall ceilings causes noise to bounce off at certain angles and make you think someone is beside you when there's no one there. It's more of a café/bistro so the tables aren't big, but they had plenty of seating, and the large windows provided a lot of natural light. You place your order at the counter, and then they bring it to you at the table if you're dining in (which is what we did). The only issue I found with this is that if you're unsure of what you want, there tends to be some pressure from people who are standing behind you. However, in our case there was a very kind woman behind the counter who was patient with us, and gave us suggestions on some specialty drinks so it made deciding less stressful. Our food and drinks arrived in a timely manner, and the portions were great for the price. I ordered "The Well Deli" and it was so delicious! It also came with chips so I had a sweet & salty flavor with my "Turtle Dove" specialty drink. All in all I awoke with a mighty craving and I received exactly what I wanted. 9/10 I will be back for another sandwich!"

"If you have not eaten at The Well my suggestion would be that you go there. I am from Peoria Illinois, my son Ted and his family live in bolivar Missouri and their daughter Scarlett, my granddaughter, works at The Well and she loves it. She took us out to eat there and I’m telling you the food is delicious the place inside is beautiful and I wish I would’ve met the lady that owns it my granddaughter Scarlett Loves working there. I really do advise you to try eating there I say pack the place. I know that every time we come to town we will be going to the world to eat."
