"DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE Purchased a car here for my wife. I was assured that the car was thoroughly Inspected before it was put up for sale. They also overcharged by about 4 thousand dollars, compared to similar cars with about the same mileage, but we were needing a vehicle so I took the loss, put up 80% down, and not a week later the check engine light kicks on. Ran the code it was a misfire, possibly caused by a vacuum leak, A month later the breaks go completely out while driving home from work, contacted the dealership as it was supposed to be under warranty, according the the paperwork that we signed at the time we bought the car, (we still have the paperwork, they still deny we have a warranty) we were instructed by bourbon county cars to take the car to a mechanic to have it looked at, and they would cover the cost plus whatever the warranty covered. Turns out the "Thoroughly inspected car" has a bad head gasket, a busted coolant line which had been rigged with "What appears to be epoxy which appeared to be JB Weld" -Briggs Auto. a bad Brake booster, various vacuum leaks, a shorted coil packs and spark plug, which was causing a misfire, and a slipping transmission. (Estimated $2,400 to fix) Upon contacting them with the bill they then claimed we had no warranty, and refused to even pay for the cars inspection, which I had to pay out of pocket ($255) Had a friend who bought a truck from them recently and one of the spark plugs shot out the side of the engine shortly after purchase. They also did not pay to fix the truck. It would appear they rig cars to appear in good working order just to get them out the door. And then do not help at all with repairs, and sell phony "warranties" I will never buy a used car from this place again. I don't see the business lasting if they keep doing business like this. They will be sued out of business"
