"Closes at 4:30. They say the shop is open until 5 but who cares if they close the yard at 4:30 and kick you out. That means hours are 4:30 so people can plan ahead. Inventory has been wrong before- not always the correct years on cars"
"Highly advise you go to buddy's auto salvage. Tried to find bumper piece just to cover front of 2011 chevy cruze temporarily and they tried to charge me $100 for plastic front bumper clip that was missing pieces and broken in several places including the bracket to mount it, ridiculous and absurd all I gotta say lmao. When Amazon is only charging $95 for brand new and primed front bumper for 2011 chevy cruze and whats suppose be salvage yard charging more for same part that is hardly usable, guess we know who's taking advantage of customers and profiting from the poor economy."
"I was thinking this place was good I've driving from Kansas city to Springfield I had nice cooper alot good parts still on the vehicle. Checking now I dont see vehicle listed That's very upsetting Who ever over this yard not looking at vehicles before taking vehicle off property."
"Good deal. Guy was helpful. Awesome employee. But bulk buyers come in and buy them out crazy quick, ship stuff to foreign countries. I mean in an hour of them getting parts, that quickly. I understand it's a business to make money, but they enable draining the local used items away from US citizens and shipping it to foreigners, which isn't cool. There's no shortage of locals that need the items. They aren't the only junkyard that does this. It's the reason you can't find the used part for your 10-year-old Chevy for example. This is a poverty stricken area because all our jobs went overseas, and now all of our used junk which is all many of us can afford is going there too, all so some CEO can make $11,000 an hour and whine it's not enough."
"Cheap, quality parts. It’s an adventure when you visit the yard. It is a salvage yard and it does have its obstacles so please be cautious and watch where you step. Be sure to research your part and bring the appropriate tools so you don’t have to lug a huge tote and be sure to bring water and stay hydrated. The staff are up to date on the inventory but, you sometimes catch an item that hasn’t been updated. Good luck and I think your at the right place for good used auto parts and tires. Remember this is a pull it yourself yard or I believe they pull it for a fee. I think your experience begins with your research before you hit the yard. If your prepared and have done your due diligence,I believe your experience will be one that you will benefit from."
