"I purchased 70 sheets of drywall and selected delivery. After I clicked "purchase" the estimated delivery date changed to a later date. Annoying, but no problem. Then on the scheduled delivery day my workers and I waited around all day for the delivery. It never arrived. Then I get a notification that the order was delayed. Again, annoying, but I understand delays can happen; however, no phone call or email was sent letting me know what was going on. Then I get a notification that the order was delivered three days previously (the same day I made the order online). Impossible. It was never delivered in reality. I've called the Pro Desk multiple times and each time I get a different answer as to the status of the order. Some say "it was delivered", others "it was not delivered; call back and speak to the Pro Desk", and most recently, from the Pro Desk "we don't usually get online orders for so many pieces of sheetrock; I have a line here, I'll have to call you back"; never called back. Needless to say, I'm left wondering what to do. At this point, it's looking like I'll have to go pick up sheetrock somewhere myself. Not only has the entire experience been annoying, it has cost me time and money in terms of lost progress at my job site. I'll be shifting my purchases to the other box stores for a while. "They got issues with the refunds in their system putting it back on your card signed up having to get one of their cards for my refund to go on it instead of going back into my account. Wasn't real happy about that but it is what it is and they are the place that I go to for my Pro account so it's all good. Had very good help and I would recommend going to that store for assistance and all your building needs."
"I have been coming to this Lowe's once/twice a week for a few years. All of the floor staff is very helpful and nice. I prefer this location to the other one by Costco. However, the last two times I have come in have been less than enjoyable. There has been the same older African American woman working self checkout and she is very rude. I come in to exchange 5 gallon water bottles all the time. I know exactly where the barcode is to scan them myself, thanks to the previous self checkout clerk who was very nice. Last week, the lady at self checkout was saying she didn't see me scan anything so when I went to show her my receipt and explain to her that I had just walked right next to her while she was talking to another customer, she put her hand in my face and said ma'am I am not talking to you, I'm talking to your spouse. So I grabbed my empty water bottles and walked to the area to exchange them. As I am doing that, she is asking my husband why I am mad, and asking him how I scanned the water. Mind you, my husband has no idea how to do it and he did not pay for it, that's why I was going to explain it to her but she was obviously just looking for a fight. She continued to make comments to me and my husband and then started calling my husband my brother. I told her she was being very disrespectful and she continued to argue with me all the way out the door!! I can't believe this person is working self checkout and behaving that way. I came in again today for water, and yet again she was working self checkout. There were only two registers open so I am trying to walk to an open one and keeps standing in front of my cart, like she doesn't want me to checkout. I move and then reach for the wand, and like usual I do everything myself. She gave me the nastiest look and was saying something to another associate about me. She watched me the entire time all the way out the door. It's frustrating to have an ongoing experience like this because I really love this store. It's always so clean and again the floor staff is wonderful. They always have a great selection of plants and keep things well stocked. I think it might be time to start making the drive to the other location just to avoid being harassed by the self checkout lady. If you do go to this location and want a pleasant experience, just go to a regular register or even the garden area."
