"I ordered the Swamp Man, and every single thing was delicious. There was plenty of food in my one meal, my wife and I both couldn't finish it in one sitting. Great dude, super friendly, very courteous. Open later than I expected them to be as well."
"Tried Kings food truck tonight, it was worth every bit of the 25 minute wait! The food was fresh, fish fried right, and the sauce served with the fries was amazing! I will be back"
"Had the Swamp Man Plate and the two piece fish plate. The Swamp Man came with seasoned shrimp, seasoned fries, catfish nuggets, and alligator nuggets! Man, talk about delicious!! I wish my stomach was bigger so that I could have eaten more. The two piece fish plate was two catfish fillets. Crisp breading on the outside, light and tender fish inside. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the the meals. The few minutes waiting while it was being freshly prepared was well worth it. Give it a try. You will be glad that you did!"
"My husband and I had seen this truck a couple days ago, but unfortunately were unable to stop by at the time. Jump to last night when we were out again spending some time away from the phones and computers to enjoy a nice winter evening. After seeing some Christmas lights and going through the Holiday Park, we spotted the Kingfish's truck and decided to give them a try. The guy running the truck was a one man army armed with great personality and slinging some pretty delicious food. We got that night's special, I think he called it a Swamp Dinner, which had catfish nugs, gator nugs, shrimp, fries, two slices of bread, green beans, and coleslaw. Seasoning was not only abundant but the food was not salty at all. There was certainly the presence of it, but it had just the right amount to bring out the other flavors without making my kidneys curl up in the fetal position. The shrimp was not overcooked, which is something some stand alone restaurants fail to prevent. The fact this guy was in such a modestly sized truck and able to pull that off should be a testimony of his skills. Catfish was beautiful, nice cornmeal breading and glistening on the inside. The gator had, what I thought to be, a very light lemon-pepper thing going on and wasn't overcooked either. Fries were well seasoned and had a nice crunch to them. The portion was generous enough for my husband and I to split. (The dog also got a couple of fries and the shrimp tails.) I've never liked coleslaw, so I can't personally comment on it, though my husband did say that it was decent. Needed a bit more salt, but still a decent slaw overall. I'll take his word on that. And the green beans were okay---I should preface this, however, by saying that I'm personally not a fan of bacon in green beans. I know..I know...put down yer pitchforks. I did take a bite of the green beans anyway and they were okay. I'm also not a fan of canned green beans either, but that is a hundred percent a personal preference and should not reflect on the Kingfish. If I was ever going to eat green beans with bacon? I'd have probably devoured his, lol. With tax, the small feast he prepared came out to around twenty-five bucks, which isn't bad considering how much we got and how well it fed two adults and a dog. They say you can't judge a book by its cover, but you can't eat books. But what you can eat is some solid food prepared by the hands of a really nice dude in a food truck. Give this place a try."
