And then there was the legendary crappie: a Truman Lake beauty, hand-prepped by owner Tony himself (thanks, Dad, for snagging that beauty in Warsaw!). Each bite was a crispy, flaky ode to Missouri bounty. Tony and his wife welcomed us like family, weaving stories between scallion pancakes and cups of steaming coffee. Their passion for food shines through every dish – it's not just a buffet, it's an experience. Updated August 9, 2023 - we had a family gathering after work at the farm - my brother his two amazing kids, and my father - Tony and his wife and son were attentive and gifted us with a super tasty VietNam coffee from the grocery shop there where locals were also buying goods to take home with them, while other customers were getting take out boxes from the incredible All you can Eat chinese food buffet. We had a wonderful peanut chicken spicy kung poa fresh and hot from the kitchen. My nieces loved 2nd trips to the desert bar for cakes and fresh watermelon and canteloupe. I've never seen or had such attentive and geniune friendly service anywhere in the world in all my life. It made it a very special day - that much more amazing. "Thank you" Joyous Chinese Food restaurant!. - - - Outstanding chicken Kung Pao with fresh green beans and a little red pepper the desert bar was fantastic with fresh pieces of watermelon and the Chinese food buffet all-you-can-eat is just one of the best in my world travels through 30 countries a wonderful experience here at joyous Chinese food restaurant. June 1, 2023 Absolutely wonderful all you can eat Chinese food cuisine buffet with dessert bar and Tony and his wife made sure that I got the chicken Kung Pao with peanuts just after I arrived and I had delicious hot tea with this absolutely amazing meal and it's so hard to find all you can eat Chinese food restaurant buffet in fact I think this is the only one in the local area here absolutely wonderful service Great tasting food incredible deal and wonderful people. We are truly blessed that these folks and this business is here and been here for so many years offering such a great service and great food. "Came in during lunch. Food was disgusting, we were the only people in the restaurant and the servers were eating food from the buffet while we were there. Very little options and everything tasted bad or expired. I do not recommend coming here at all. Maybe dinner is better but I doubt it."

"If I had to rate the service at this restaurant it was pretty good. But if I was to rate the food I would give it a -12 stars not enough on the bar missing Is food cold Not too much flavor bland And some of the food on the salad bar was like it was sitting out there for a while. They used to have 3 bars open With stuff A salad bar, Then a Chinese mixed bar Like you're low main Is noodles and your Chinese pepper steak beef and broccoli stuff like that Then they used to have A fried section Like your egg rolls your long tongues stuff like that Now they're missing the fried bar they fixed the Chinese stuff and fried bar into one saction so now only you've got is 2 bars. But I would say service is great food sucks. Also overpriced for how little you get"

"Unsure what all the bad reviews are about. Probably just petty Karen's. It's your average Chinese buffet. I visit 40-50 a year. Nothing special. Not lacking. Small variety but good food. Left me alone to decide my health precautions. Good price though."
