"I was craving a Gyro, and this place came up. I didn’t think much of it at first, but I was compelled to leave a review. First off: I was kind of in a hurry, but had time to sit down and enjoy something, and was in and out in about 15 minutes. While the staff might not have the greatest grasp of conversational English, I was VERY well taken care of, and left a very happy guy. I had a lamb Gyro, which was perfectly seasoned and superbly cooked, and the portion size was on point for the price. It was crispy enough to have a nice crunch, but juicy, tender and bursting with flavor. The hummus was a hit too, along with their fresh pita. I had to ask for more pita, and got it complimentary. It was the perfect balance of price and portion so much, I got to take half home for lunch tomorrow. I’m very happy to have found this place because it seems sort of hidden amongst the other shops along Johnson Drive, but next time I’m in the area, this will be my go-to."

"The food here is excellent, some of the best Mediterranean cuisine in KC. The lamb gyros are an exception. They tend to be oddly chewy and cracker-y. But everything else is outstanding. The hummus and grape leaves are particular favorites. The service can be spotty. I've had excellent experiences with dine-in, but carryout can be hit and miss. The atmosphere is comfortable without being showy, the high end of what one would expect from a restaurant in a strip mall."
