"Spent $20 on a brisket platter. It came with 4 pieces of brisket and 2 sides. That's like charging $3 per piece of brisket... outrageous price for ok bbq. Spend the same at jackstack where you get a good portion of food and better quality."

"Had a hankering for some BBQ while traveling from Virginia to Colorado. Stopped here and wasn't too disappointed. The place is a bit dated and dark, but the food was really good and the service was too. Seemed to be a favorite with Locals. The Sampler Platter was pretty generous. Ribs (two) weren't as meaty as most I've had. Except the chicken was a bit bland. Would still recommend the platter though. Speaking of bland, so was the Mac & Cheese...pretty flavorless. Wasn't the case with everything else though. Very good. Not the best BBQ I've ever had, but good for the price. Only bottled beer options and pretty limited. Mostly basic domestics. Tried the Boulevard (Wheat) and it complimented the food pretty well. Wouldn't go out of my way to get here, but if in the area I would stop again."

"Bbq is like art. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone has a different take on what bbq should be and or not be. I rank in the top percent of google reviews for restaurants so I know what I’m talking about. Excellent service the food I can honestly say lacked flavor the brisket was really dry but it had a good smoky flavor to it. The Mac n cheese seemed like box made and had little to no taste and creaminess to it. The sweet tea was on point. I would definitely be back to try out some other menu items."

"Rarely have I found a place that makes fries good enough to eat without covering them in some sort of sauce. I love these fries! The brisket was cut too thin for my taste, but it was tender and delicious. The chicken and shredded pork were moist. The coleslaw was a bit wilted but tasty."

"Friendly staff and quick service. The smoked cream cheese was our app. I wish it were more smoked and would even suggest baking it....but it was OK. We had the pulled pork, brisket, broccoli and cheese, potato salad, fries and cottage cheese....all delicious! The mild and hot BBQ were both wonderful! Great stop for a quick, homestyle meal! Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time. Explore everything!"
