"I was disappointed by the quality of service I received at this store. Part of the problem was not the employee's fault, I know that people cannot do a good job without the tools and training. I wanted a battery tested, a Gray shirt (manager of some type) came out to test it. The tester he had would not work as it should because a software update had changed all the menus and the tester called for an ODBII cable but I didn't see any place where one could have been connected... I never saw a test completed because the operator could not get past the tester asking for the VIN # of the car... I did my best to help but he never could get the tester to let him enter the info asked for... I have come to think of AutoZone as the Walmart of auto parts, they have quality products but don't expect the person at the counter to know anything that the counter computer has not told them. I blame this on AutoZone for not training them... The store manager will normally know what I expect a parts counter person to know but anyone else is just being lucky... After not being able to get the battery test to complete he still was willing to tell me the battery was bad... I went and got the battery tested at another store..."
