"Dont go here- the girl cooking our food touched raw hamburger then our buns then our lettuce tomatoes onion etc with the same gloves - burgers were raw and greasy- 33.00 for 2 burgers a beer a pop and some onion rings!!! Horrible horrible place"

"Just ate here for the first time. Very nice little place to eat on the lake. Food was great and Jessica was the only one working at the time, but she did not skip a beat. She got the order right and everything was in a timely matter. Not to mention the prices are great, half the price of a big sit down restaurants and better food. It's a little off the beaten path, but it is worth it and we will definitely be recommending this place and coming back again."

"Best hecken burger we’ve ever had!! And we’ve had some pretty amazing burgers. This one just dethroned them all. Their side portions are generous and perfectly crispy onion rings and bacon (upon request). The owner and young staff are super cool and friendly, easy to talk to at the counter seats, fun people with a lot of talent. The building itself has a charming design and feel to it, just across the lake docks and tucked away in the fall colors. Our one regret was splitting the burger thinking our stomachs would be too small this morning. Definitely going back for a full one each!"

"Best burger in KC. 11oz dbl is perfectly cooked. Fries and tater bombs are delicious. Live music lake life scene is so relaxing. Cool people. Get the burger people. It's for real. Chandler and Susie are awesome."
