Reviews
"Always knowledgeable and friendly and has great concern for your health. Dr. Wassink has never judged over poor life styles that concerned the health of your smile, and yet he praises you over healthy achievements. I will never go anywhere else!"
"I am so happy with everyone at this office. So kind and so good at explaining all procedures. I highly recommend!!"
"I was so scared to get my tooth pulled but they were so wonderful and kind. Extremely fast and helped me deal with the pain in a way that didn’t include opioids. Thank you Dr. Chad and Elizabeth I truly appreciate the care I got."
"They do a great job with my dental work. The only negative I have is that they routinely run behind on your appointment time. An inconvenience if you have other obligations. Other than that they are great."
"Not ok. Read full review before going here. They had a student floss my teeth with no supervision. She failed to take the floss tautly between her fingers, to slide it gently up-and-down between my teeth. Instead popping the floss over and over. Very painful, so I asked her to stop and requested I did it myself. Most of the staff appears rushed. The dental receptionist were great. The dental assistants were inconsistently ok. Then you have the hygienist (my favorite people, never had an issue at the Harrisonville location) & then the dentist who seems extremely rushed/stressed. This is subjective. I explained to the dentist my teeth are hard to numb and I have had someone rush and drill on my teeth feeling the entire process (not this dentist group). He was kind and reassuring saying that won’t happen this time. However he became short and visibly irritated after multiple numbing attempts. I had a filling and crown on each side of my mouth. Thankfully my mouth was numb. However if you are going here I’d recommend not doing that. Only one side at a time so you don’t end up like me. I could barely chew on both sides after this for weeks. The temporary crown set high. I explained this. They attempted to fix it twice. At this point my tooth was literally killing. I was in so much pain. I shared this info. The dentist/staff reassured pain would get better…it didn’t. Then I got the permanent crown, my first crown. No one explained how this process works. They asked if I wanted it numbed, I said idk is that normal? Will it make it more difficult to ensure the crown isn’t too high. Not much feedback was given. No numbing was given. Dentist never said anything about the numbing process or ensured I was well informed. Again seemed like he was in a hurry. Placed the crown, I yelled out in pain and started crying. He asked no questioned. Walked away. The assistant came back, did a bite test. Explained the doctor was concerned about the pain and wanted to make sure I didn’t have something wrong so got an ex-ray. Still in lots of pain, instructed to take meds to help calm the nerve/reduce inflammation ect. They send me home. I called back, was reassured my pain could last up to six months because everyone is different however it’s my responsibility to keep them informed. It does and beyond. At this point I am sure the clinic lacks the ability to care for me. I loose all trust with the dentist. Perhaps this place has higher priorities than patient care. Now I go to different dentist. The crown is set wrong, again too high. Part of my gum is comprised due to the poor shape of the crown, it is too deep on one area. Food debris present under crown. Addition issues now and cost me even more money. I waited a while to write this review because I wanted to ensure I was as objective as possible. I never want to hurt a business but sometimes a review is important to help businesses become more aware of room for improvement. There were also some red flags. I was told I needed a mouth guard due to grinding teeth as it could crack my teeth. I explained I would need to postpone purchasing one until my next visit. Next visit came I said I was ready to purchase the mouth guard but it was disregarding. I brought it up twice before I left and they kept dismissing me. They did the exact same with my husband. This is concerning for two reasons. One last time they were almost pushy like you gotta have it. Ok that is fine but we couldn’t afford it. So instead ensure us we can get it at the next appointment. But at the next visit they dismiss me, this is alarming. Do you want my teeth to crack so you are able to make more money. Overall would go anywhere else"
