"Always a great experience with Dr. Sarah Brent and her team! Scheduling is a breeze and can be done online. I really enjoy the appointment reminders that they send out allowing you to confirm or cancel via text or email if needed. Very friendly and competent staff, and a nice clean and welcoming environment. I would recommend to family and friends in a heartbeat! Update: I moved out of state and I really, REALLY, miss having KC Family Dental as my dental provider. Not only is Dr. Sarah Brent wonderful, the dental hygienists at KC Family Dental are thorough, incredibly knowledgeable, take their time and are super friendly. Additionally, Dr. Brent always took her time with me as well, answering any questions, and genuinely showing an interest in me (as a person) and my teeth. This got me thinking about other dentist I had prior to KC Family Dentist and I realized that they have been the BEST dental provider I have EVER had, out of the 7 different places I have lived. "Our family began going to KC Family Dental shortly after they opened and were some of the very first clients. Initially we had great experiences. Kind, helpful staff, beautiful facilities. But soon nearly every cleaning resulted in a diagnosis that one of us needed a crown. Other than a cavity or two none of us had ever needed more than a cleaning at the dentist in decades. Trusting the dentist we always opted to get the crown. With the most recent one we were given a good faith estimate from the dentist on what our cost would be after insurance. Once the procedure was complete we paid our bill in full. A few months later we received a bill for a very similar amount and thought that it was an error. Calling in they claimed that their estimate was off by half and that we still owed several hundreds of dollars on a procedure that we had already paid for. We called our insurance company and found out that the material KC Family Dentistry used for the crown is not covered by our insurance but another material is and the dentist never called the insurance company to verify. We appealed the claim with our insurance company and as we were in that process we had another family member get diagnosed with needing a crown and a staff member call us very aggressively and condescendingly about sending us to collections over the doubled bill. After a heated conversation about what ‘good faith’ means we paid the bill and left the practice. If you can’t trust the billing then you can’t trust the business."

"Debated writing this for awhile, but a friend recently asked if i would recommend this place. Short answer is no, not really. I was newly graduated from college and trying to find a dental practice that was closer to home, and this place was close by and had decent reviews. I went a total of three times i believe. The girl at the front desk was usually pretty unhelpful, sometimes plain rude, and never actually seemed to understand the billing that she was doing. More than once she had to start over because things weren’t adding up correctly. The dental hygienist i had i remember being really great and gentle, which is why i gave two stars instead of one. My main issue is simply the fact that i believe i was over treated. I hadn’t had a filling in a very long time, always checked out just fine at my previous dentist. However, my first visit here i was told i needed SIX fillings done in two separate appointments. This was shocking, but i figured maybe my previous dentist was lazy so agreed. The next time i went, two additional fillings. At this point, i decided to get a second (and even third) opinion. No cavities to be filled per two independent dentists. More than that, two years later i had two of those six fillings literally chip or fall out completely. It’s important to probably note that the dentist doesn’t do the fillings herself, which was new to me. Fixed by my current dentist, whose practice i enjoy much more. The staff (other than front desk girl) is very friendly, including Dr Brent. This could all have just been my personal experience. I just became uneasy being there, and often felt a little over treated. Not to mention the billing never seemed to make sense."

"I LOVE KC Family Dental. Look no further, this is the place for dental care. Not only is their office immaculate, the staff are all so pleasant and welcoming. Miranda, the dental hygienist, is fun, personable and professional. She also has a great memory and remembers details of your conversations from the previous visits. Not to mention, does an excellent teeth cleaning and has great recommendations for dental care. Dr. Brent is amazing. She is knowledgeable, kind, funny, and is very reasonable with her treatment plans. My husband and I both receive dental care here and highly recommend."

"My visits at KC Family Dental have been phenomenal. I had to have a chipped tooth cosmetically repaired and calling the process “seamless” would be an understatement. Dr. Brent was extremely friendly, as were all of the hygienists I interacted with. They fixed my tooth quickly and painlessly. Will definitely continue my visits with KC Family Dental!
