"My husband ordered takeout and was charged extra because of how many more materials get used for to go orders which I thought was insane, not only that the host didn't allow him to sit at the bar to wait for his order and was told "paying customers only." When he showed him his receipt for what he ordered, he was then told the bar was for anyone who bought alcoholic drinks only. The tacos were OK but we expected authentic, instead we got a small amount of meat in a flour tortilla that was packed full of cheese and lettuce. Never going there again."

"Fajitas Hawaii are soo good, It seems they put some kind of sauce that just makes it more favorable than the other fajitas. My only issue was they were having draft beer problems when I went."

"This was the first time my wife and I came to this restaurant in particular. We've been excitedly waiting for it to open since we saw the signs go up. The builders did a great job and the layout is more open than the other El Magueys in town. The food was great and the drinks were better than standard house drinks. I had the Chilli Rellenos de Mariscos and I would recommend it without a doubt. The atmosphere was quiet and appealing and our server was the right amount of attentive."

"We had Childrinas, fajitas and cheese enchiladas which were very good. But we had to ask our waitress were our appetizer- guacamole Mexicano was after most of our food arrived. They did end up giving it to us for free but our waitress had to be asked several times to fill out glasses"

"Foods good but was disappointed with the birria tacos didn’t taste anything like birria wasn’t spicy, sweet just tasted like straight el maguey queso an didn’t add enough birria broth to support 3 birria tacos other then that foods good"
