"Horrible experience! My son got 3 teeth extracted. They tried to tell me that I couldn't even walk my son (6 at the time) back to his room for HIPAA laws and shamed me for saying no. Then they had noooooo problem sharing all my information without any privacy with people standing around me. Then there was an insurance problem that started on their end. I didn't get statements until the last one and if I don't pay, I'll get charged interest. The entire office lacks compassion, responsibility, and courtesy. Also, my son screamed through the extraction with nitrous and numbing medicine. I have no doubt that they treated him very poorly and he was scared to death. Drive somewhere else and invest in a good experience. My son is now terrified of dentist and I have a bill that is due immediately because of their error. I would have paid the bill immediately if I knew about it."
"Been a patient here for years amd always thought they were amazing but the service my son received in an emergency after taking a flyball to the face was heroic. Here it was friday starting memorial weekend the office is usually closed and these ladies came in to do oral surgury on my son until 6:30 pm. They were so wonderful and did all they could.Thank you."

Both the hygienist and the dentist listen to your concerns and answer your questions. We are in the process of moving out-of-state and I hope we will be able to find a dental office that is this good. Highly recommend."
"My experiences with Southwest Iowa Dental Associates have been nothing less than exceptional! What an outstanding group of professionals! The office/exam rooms are always clean, tidy & inviting. Staff are very personable and kind. Everyone there takes the time to listen to my concerns and are happy to answer all of my questions. I feel like I always have a "voice" in my plan of care and recieve individualized treatment that works best for me. There is no doubt I get the best service when I go in for routine cleanings or other treatments. I highly recommend this office for all your dental work!"
"Been going here for a long time now. The staff usually treats me like family and some even know me by name. I've even had my wisdom teeth taken out here and a chipped tooth filled twice. I received a text that I was due for a 6-month cleaning (I usually go during my college breaks) so I made an appointment for Jan 4th at 3pm. I called and made this appointment December 13th, almost a whole month in advance. I remember calling, making the appointment, and telling them my tooth chipped again. I was able to get in a few days before having to go back to college. I went in for my appointment and was told that there was no appointment made for me and that they couldn't make me an appointment until after January 27 (because of insurance reasons.) If this is true, then why did I receive a text that I was overdue for a cleaning and why was I able to make an appointment? I have the phone records and text message. Usually, this kind of thing wouldn't bother me too much. Mistakes happen and I understand. I am mostly disappointed in the way I was treated by the receptionist. She was a younger girl and was extremely condescending to me. She explained the insurance policy and how I can't come until January 27th to me like I was 5 years-old, multiple times. I understand how all of that works and did not need to be spoken to the way I was. She offered no help or apologies. She completely embarrassed me in front of the whole lobby. There are no good words for the way she treated me. Also, I drive from Red Oak, so I wasted a lot of time getting work off and driving for this. Unfortunately, this experience will lead to me bring my business elsewhere."
