"Older post but I bumped into Gary the other day and it reminded me to leave this. Shortly after hurricane Ida, I had a leak. I called another roofing company to quickly repair the damage. The repair was horrible. They put those architectural shingles on my ridge instead of the proper ones, they reinstalled less venting, and left holes all over the place. I decided to call a proper company which was licensed and insured. Coastal Roofing responded quickly. Gary came to my house over here in Slidell by the old mall. He told me I really needed a reroof but I couldn't afford it at that time. He recognized my needs and fixed my vents and found some other low nail spots that he patched to hold me over. Since its been a few years I believe its time for a new roof finally. There is a program to qualify for a $10,000 grant to get your roof Fortified. Luckily I qualify and I will be calling Coastal Roofing to reinstall my roof. Also my roof has solar panels which seems to scare off a lot of other roofers when I was originally getting quotes.
