Reviews
"Beautiful peaceful morning walk in this park. Family friendly and pets."
"I'm a wheelchair user and they keep dumping tons of sand into the park, so now I can't access it like everyone else. My tires spin and I get stuck. Used to be my favorite park."
"My daughter, granddaughter, and I went for the Halloween Fest. We had a blast! My 19 mo old granddaughter was so excited to see all the costumes, and this was her first time to trick or treat, and I think she got the hang of it! Everyone was so friendly and the weather was perfect."
"Beautiful scenic views of the river. Large outdoor playground. Clean grounds. Wooden picnic fences, wooden benches, and garbage cans provided. Has a lovely wooden pavaillion with a men's and women's bathroom. Multiple toilets. The restrooms have a/c and heat. The restrooms were clean. I was able to wash my hands with soap and water. Nice gravel parking lot. I was able to park close to the pavilion."
"Very cute and quiet little park. A good place to bring a picnic with a blanket and hang out with family. There is also a good sized playground to entertain the kids in addition to some pretty sand on the beach that is sloped enough to to ankle wading in the river if you wanna get your feet wet. There's a pavilion with clean restrooms for rent to hold events like weddings or family reunions and such. And the plus, just to go hang out, it's free. My daughter even found a live mussel wading through the river, and as these pics were taken the Saturday after that tragic New Orleans Saints loss, someone across the river had a sense of humor and had the referee hanging in the tree."
