"My 9 month old was referred to Dr. Wyatt for hemangiomas he had (three birth marks) and one was on the midline of his spine that his pediatrician was concerned with, which is how we ended up here. While the wait time was unbeatable, the office seemed clean and organized, staff were respectful and professional, and Dr. Wyatt was extremely patient with my child, I was told that there was concern for a possible neurological consult for his spinal cord with the condition of “tethered spinal cord”. Dr. Wyatt told me she would “get with one of her Neuro colleagues and call me with a recommendation from them”. However a week later when I called for an update, I was told that “Dr. Wyatt has been busy seeing patients today and that the call probably wasn’t made”. When I informed the receptionist (or whomever answered the phone) that I was calling from an appointment LAST WEEK. She then let me speak with a nurse who told me “{child’s name} chart was on Dr. Wyatt’s desk and he was first and foremost on her list.” Today is 14 days since we have seen Dr. Wyatt and her staff. No one has called me about a recommendation for my child’s spinal cord. (No worries I have put in a call to his pediatrician to refer him to our local neurologist)."
