"I’m not usually one to post reviews and especially not negative ones, but our experience at this campground has me feeling the responsibility to do so. There are quite a few things I can list that were disappointing, but the most disturbing of them all were the people joyriding through the campground into the night and even the next morning, blasting music, loud mufflers, revving engines etc. We felt incredibly unsafe and even more so when the camp host told us not to hike the trails nearby bc of the stray dogs and people who hang around the woods. They told us there was nothing they could do about these people, even though there is a gate that seems like it could easily be closed at night. We were also woken up by the host blowing leaves at 8:30am for literally two hours. All in all, probably my worst experience at a campground so far. We paid for two nights and left after the first. Do yourself a favor and skip this one for a state park instead. George Payne Cossar State Park was LOVELY."

"Excellent campground run by super camp hosts. Park has 23 active sites and newer bathhouse. Sites are all large, concrete and FHU ( rare for a COE park)! Coming from the interstate take the first turn for Hwy 53. Its a straight shot to the campground. If the GPS takes you to the turn at the Baptist church, use the parking lot to go back, otherwise you will wind through a rundown neighborhood with tiny roads. 2 bars ATT. Couple of good diners in town 10 minutes away."

"Hidden Gem. I have to share this place. Water Valley Landing on Enid Lake. It’s a COE Campground can be booked on recreation.gov. Someone did a post last week about it and I had never heard of the place. Google searched everything I could think of and could Find barely any information on it. I NEVER go to any place unless I can see a picture from a real person not a website and I am so thankful for the lady who shared this place last week because if it wasn’t for her I would not be here today. This place is amazing, peaceful and quiet. Our site is site 16 because I know that question will come. The park is super clean, well maintained and has FULL HOOKUPS for $20 a night. Couldn’t ask for a more perfect spot. Nice breeze coming off the lake. I hope someone will see this and come out and enjoy this place when you can."
