"nice area, plenty of room for dogs to run. it overlooks the reservoir, which is nice. unfortunately, the gates to both the small dog side and the big dog side are broken. this is a huge negative as one dog was able to repeatedly leave the small dog side and run to the big dog side. luckily the dog was friendly, but if it would have been aggressive, it could've really hurt someone or other dogs."
"This beautiful, large dog park had plenty of running room for my pups, access to water and shade, and the best dog owners I have met at a park."
"Dingo & I went early 1 morning. He was the only dog at the park, so I don't know what a barkin' park is all about at Lakeshore. There were plenty of "donut" bags available, but that courtesy seemed to be overlooked bc the grass was like a minefield out there! Plus, the gate door to the dog park's tricky. I looked silly, trying to figure out how the H*LL to get it open! It's rather obvious how the door opens....... once you figure out how to get it open, but man! Duh!"
"This is an incredibly tranquil place. It is so peaceful and relaxing. There is an enclosed dog park, lots of bathrooms, water faucets, pavilions, picnic tables and benches, swimming, walking/jogging paths and an excercise area. Overall this is a well cared for park but some of the bathrooms are quite dated and very musty though."
"Just what we needed. Been traveling with our pooches for a few days now and some off leash, run around time was long overdue. Toys, full water bowls and benches in the shade greeted us. Was a welcome respite. Thank you again for this 2&4 legged traveler's oasis!"
