"Even the dry cleaning service is bad. They ship it off-site to be done. Took suits in on Monday, was told they'd be back Thursday. Of course, they NEVER told me they wouldn't be in until 5:00, and they close at 6:00.... So I go in mid-afternoon to pick them up for work that night when they weren't there...."
"They helped me with my pants for graduation. The pants came in on time and fit amazing! The cashier was really nice as well! If I ever need anything hemmed again, I'll come here"
"Hansboro cleaners and tailor, is the worst! I dropped my daughters winter formal dress off to be altered. Told them I would be in on Saturday to pick it up. No one bothered to mention they closed early on Saturday. I showed up and couldn't pick her dress up. I went in to pick it up today, and explained how unhappy I was. I asked why I wasn't called. I was told it's not their policy to call when items are ready. The employee that I was speaking to wouldn't even look up from his phone long enough to talk to me. When I asked to speak to a manager, he was just as rude!!! He informed me that he has thousands of customers and didn't have time to call people. He said there isn't a cleaners around that will call when people's items are ready. I told him that he has just lost a customer. The guy literally said he didn't care. I was in the shop 4 times in one week, and the same employee was playing on his phone every time. So I guess you don't have time to call your customers. After everything I was still made to pay those jerks. And yes my daughter ended up getting to the dance. After I bought a second identical dress the day of the dance. I was lucky enough to also find a lady abel to alter it. Moral of the story they really don't care about customers because they "have thousands." Well to every one of their customers this is how they feel about you. You clearly don't matter because there are thousands more."
"I had taken dress slacks to get tailored. I needed the waist, hip, and leg area taken in to fit me properly. I was informed that since I was having the slacks tailored they would also be dry cleaned. When I arrived to drop off the items, was instructed to try them on, so she could see where and how much needed to be taken in. While she was pinning the garment, she had only taken in material at the back seat area of the pant. Was assured that when job was completed, you would not be able to tell that I had them altered. After one week, received a call that the items were ready. I went to pick then up, and had tried them on before leaving. I had noticed that so much material was taken up in the back, that the two pockets were almost touching. When I mentioned that to her, I was told that if I wore a long enough shirt no one would know. I rated a two star, because when I picked up the slacks, they were nicely dry cleaned and pressed. However, I will not be taking any other items to get altered here again."
"(This review is specifically for the alterations department as I have no experience with their dry cleaning department). I chose this place for my wedding dress altering because it's near my house. I checked out their website and they advertise wedding dress heir-looming well as 30+ years experience in tailoring- so I felt pretty comfortable bringing it here. The bottom needed to be hemmed and the top straps need to be taken in because they were too loose. When I picked up my dress, instead of actually having the straps, she had basically just sewed it down the folded over layers instead of removing the extra material and reattaching the straps. The straps of the dress were pretty thick and wide so it created a huge lump that would obviously not lay down flat as I was wearing it. She then proceeded to make up excuses as to why she rushed through the job. She even said "I hated to do that" and "sometimes because I have to leave at two I have to skimp on some of the jobs to get them done in time". I told her multiple times before leaving the first time that I did not need my dress back for at least another month, so I don't know why she felt the need to rush through the job. I asked for a refund for at least the straps and she insisted to keep it there to fix it. She did fix it in a matter of hours but the job still does not look great and another worker behind the counter was pretty rude to me when I came back to pick it up. They will definitely not be getting any of my business or anyone else that I know."
