"Took my 14 month old son to Batson Children's Urgent Care in Flowood over the weekend for congestion and a seal-like cough. Unfortunately this doctor (or lack thereof) was on call. She stated he didn't have any type of infection, so she refused to give him any kind of antibiotic to clear up his congestion and instead gave him an oral dose of Decadron. On his check-out paperwork she clearly states sinus & upper respiratory infection. Two days later his congestion and cough is much worse and now we're making our 2nd trip to the doctor. I even called the clinic back and explained he was worse and asked if she could call him in something. Still refused and said he would have to be brought back in to be re-evaluated. He will definitely be re-evaluated but not by her or this clinic. Should have known better since they are affiliates of UMMC. Please make this clinic your LAST option if you have a sick child. They are absolutely NO help and they couldn't care less."
