"I receive excellent and fast service whenever I go to the VA hospital for any reason. All the VA personal have been highly professional and knowledgeable. If not for the VA I don't think I would be here now."
"Credit when and where it is due. Transferred from TX clinic. Due to an unusual circumstance I required some paper work completed by a provider as requested by a separate gov org. Time sensitive! So, me and my 2 year old went to the Green clinic with high hopes and no expectations. Within 3 minutes they had the whole damn team showing up trying to help me out, discussing a plan of action. These people are A+ and even chatted with my baby. I just asked for help and these lovely people delivered in a big way. Thank you all!"
"I had to wait two months for an appointment with the eye clinic. Days before the scheduled appointment received a text message asking me to confirm my appointment and that I would be there. No problem responding yes will be there. Two business days before my scheduled eye appointment I was called by a woman at the VA eye clinic to tell me my scheduled appointment (waited two months for) was canceled and rescheduled for February 1, 2024. FOUR (4) months later. I asked her why was my appointment cancelled. She said Dr. Massey (eye doctor) I was scheduled to see, wife had a baby and he was taken maternity leave. Yep that’s right! A grown man putting my and other veterans healthcare on hold so he can stay at home with his wife and baby. Since when is a veteran’s healthcare at the mercy of VA doctor’s personal lives? Dr. Massey and Dr. Dapermount (Dr. in charge) are a disgrace. You should be ashamed of yourselves. When I told the clerk this is unacceptable and that I was going to file a complaint of this gross negligence by these two doctors, I get a phone call from VA Biloxi police asking me to go to the VA to make a statement. I ask about what? He (CPl Trochesst) told me he received a call from the eye clinic saying I was making threatening comments and they were in fear of me. LOL seriously! What a FNG joke. How very disappointing the VA Biloxi healthcare system has become. One of the most incompetent hospitals for veteran healthcare services. With that being said, thankfully there are many very professional and competent people working there. The terrible ones need to be called out. I served our great nation with dignity and honor. I refuse to be disrespected this way. Myself and my fellow veterans. Complaints have need filed and I expect full accountability. SHAME on you Dr. Massey and Dr. Dapermount"
"The VA is a massive, beautifully landscaped estate by the beach with ancient trees draped with moss and singing birds. Everyone in this area is pleasant and calm; The doctors are all very professional and up to the latest knowledge and health techniques. You are seen as soon as soon as possible and there are tvs, magazines and books to keep you occupied as well as free wifi."
"My appointments have been canceled numerous times and I am now on my fourth PCP. I am going to see if they canceled my December appointments. By changing my provider over and over they keep sending me through the same treatment process. If it hasn't worked yet, it may be time to change my care plan. I have worked in the medical profession for roughly 30 years myself. The mental health department is lacking in communication. My provider transferred and no one told me until I went to fill my medication. Luckily I am a counselor myself and called them out on patient abandonment and asked how many of our veterans were done the same way."
